Seminar: Human Rights in Latin America

This event consists of a two-and-a-half-day open international seminar to be held at the Université de Montréal from September 11 to 13, 2024. The aim is to bring together young researchers, established academics, as well as practitioners (activists and policy-makers) in this field, where both practice and knowledge remain crucial to grasp the issues in all their complexity. The sharing of knowledge will help build an interdisciplinary, scientific, and practical understanding of these issues. The seminar will be organized around three keynote lectures and four thematic panels (see program for details).
